Overview:
In the world of Agriculture, where Pests pose a relentless Challenge, one name has been making significant strides in Plant Protection – Avinash Salunke. His journey, beginning in 2002 amidst the crisis of woolly aphids in Sugarcane, has been nothing short of Remarkable.
Salunke started by exploring the intricacies of Insect behaviour, particularly their response to Scents. His initial focus was on developing Pheromones for Household Pest Management, laying the foundation for his Entrepreneurial journey in Shrirampur. His pursuit of excellence led him to acquire International Accreditation in hazardous gas handling, essential for Fumigation in Export Quarantine, a crucial aspect of Plant Protection.
Avinash’s Entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Pestomatic Controls, further solidifying his commitment to Innovative Pest Management. However, a Nationwide tour opened his eyes to a more significant Challenge – Vertebrate Pests. This realization gave birth to PESTOSYS LLP, a Start-up dedicated to developing Smell-Based Products targeting Vermin like Wild boars and Monkeys.
Product Development:
His extensive Research and Innovation have led to the creation of various 300 Lab-Scale Products Ready-with-Prototype. Several of these are under Testing and Validation & waiting for Scaling up.
